Why take notes?
- Have you ever read a sentence two times or more, but did not remember what you read? Taking notes requires that you connect with and absorb the information (Kemper, Meyer, Van Rhys, & Sebranek, 2012, p. 12).
- Taking notes also gives you the ability to visually organize and rearrange the information for your paper (Easy Bib, n.d., para. 1).
