Henley-Putnam's Professional Certifications Related to Strategic Security

The APC is required for all Personnel Security Adjudicators in the DoD Consolidated Adjudications Facility (CAF), DoD Intelligence Community (IC) Central Adjudication Facilities, and personnel security adjudicators employed by an agency accepted to participate in the program. The APC was accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) in April 2018.

A certification program designed for trainers in the security profession exclusively conducted by the Philippine Association of Recognized Security Training Schools (PARSTS), Inc. Graduates will be conferred with a title of Certified Security Trainer (CST) which aim to increase relevance and productivity in the organization, strengthen leadership through quality training, develop skills in module preparations for compliance and specialized-courses, enhance skills in training delivery, lesson plan and adult learning principles techniques.

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) is a method of helping first responders and others who have been involved in critical incidents that leave them emotionally and/or physically affected by those incidents. CISM is a process that enables peers to help their peers understand problems that might occur after an event. This process also helps people prepare to continue to perform their services or in some cases return to a normal lifestyle.

The DPAPC provides the recognition and official record of an individual's demonstrated understanding and application of occupational and technical knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to proficiently perform essential due process adjudicator tasks (i.e., writing statement of reasons (SOR), evaluating responses to SOR, recommending eligibility determinations or other functions following evaluation of responses to SOR).

Candidates must be conferred the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) to participate. The SAPPC was accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) in January 2014, and received re-accreditation in November 2018, demonstrating its continued compliance with NCCA standards.

The SFPC provides a recognized and reliable indication of a security practitioner's understanding of foundational concepts, principles, and practices needed to successfully protect DoD assets. The SFPC was accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) in December 2012, and received re-accreditation in November 2018, demonstrating its continued compliance with NCCA standards.

The SPēD Certification Program is part of the Department of Defense (DoD) initiative to professionalize the security workforce. This initiative ensures there exists a common set of competencies among security practitioners that promotes interoperability, facilitates professional development and training, and develops a workforce of certified security professionals. The program consists of seven certifications and one credential.

The SPIPC provides a recognized and reliable indication of a security practitioner's understanding and ability to apply risk management and security program management concepts, principles, and practices. You must be a certificant of the SFPC to participate. The SPIPC was accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) in February 2015 and received re-accreditation in November 2018, demonstrating its continued compliance with NCCA standards.

The SPSC is ideal for personnel who will be or are already performing Security Officer functions for and/or on behalf of DoD Special Access Programs. Candidates must be conferred the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) to participate.
