NAU Foundation Scholarship Information & Applications

Approaching Graduation Scholarship

The Approaching Graduation Scholarship is awarded to Undergraduate who are 18 credits or less to graduate and Master's students who are 9 credits or less to graduate and might need financial support to get to that final step! 

 

Scholarship Information & Criteria:

Amount: Undergraduate - $750 | Master's -  $700

Distribution: 

Undergraduate: The award will be disbursed $375 per Winter term and $375 per Spring term, unless Winter term is the final term to complete degree.  If Winter is the final term to complete degree, then the full $750 will be disbursed Winter term.

Master's: The award will be disbursed $350 per Winter term and $350 per Spring term, unless Winter term is the final term to complete degree.  If Winter is the final term to complete degree, then the full $700 will be disbursed Winter term.

Undergraduate Criteria:

1. Enrolled at NAU for either Winter A (December) or Winter B (January) terms; and

2. Who is within 18 credits of completing his/her degree; and

3. Who has $2,500 or less remaining in financial aid eligibility or has exhausted financial aid (including Pell grant), and has not defaulted on federal student loans; and

4. Who has at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA as of the last term you were enrolled at NAU.

 

Master's Criteria:

1. Enrolled at NAU for either Winter A (December) or Winter B (January); and

2. Who is within 9 credits of completing his/her degree; and

3. Who has $2,500 or less remaining in financial aid eligibility or has exhausted financial aid (including Pell grant), and has not defaulted on federal student loans; and

4. Who has at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA as of the last term you were enrolled at NAU.

To be submitted with application:

  • A brief autobiography (500 -750 words) that includes your career goals following graduation.
