Legal Research Guide

This guide is intended for legal research and reference use by all NAU students. The information in this guide is not intended as legal advice.

How Do I Get To The NAU Online Library?

You can get to your Library Guides and Resources by clicking on the "Course Materials" tab in your D2L course and choosing "NAU Online Library."

You can get to the homepage of the NAU Online Library:

y clicking on the NAU Online Library link in the Library Guides listed in your D2L course.
-by clicking on the the link at the top of your D2L homepage in the navigation bar.

y typing library.national.edu in the address bar (URL bar) of your internet browser.
-or through your Student Portal.

How Do I Log In To Nexis Uni and the Other NAU Databases?

You set up your NAU Office 365 email account:

1. Go to the Student Portal (https://mycampus.national.edu) - log in with your student user name and password.
2. Go to the Learner Services tab. Click on New Student email.
3. Click on the link to "Log into your Office 365 account."
4. Sign in with this email address: firstname.lastname@national.edu
(If that doesn't work, you will need to contact nausupport@national.edu to see if you have a different email because of a common name). Your password will the same one you use to log into classes.
5. Complete the additional security information (see https://onestop.national.edu - Student Portal for help completing the security information).
6. Once logged in, you will arrive at your Office 365 student email box. 
7. At this point, you are logged into the library and your NAU email.
