NAU Foundation Scholarship Information & Applications

The New Student Empowerment Scholarship is awarded to new students and offers additional financial support to help get past the first term and continue on into academic success. 

Scholarship Information

Amount: Undergraduate - $1,000

# Available: 12 available for 2023/24 School Year

• 3 available for Summer 2023 (one each for A, B, and C start)
• 3 available for Fall 2023 (one each for A, B, and C start)
• 3 available for Winter 2023-24 (one each for A, B, and C start)
• 3 available for Spring 2024 (one each for A, B, and C start)

Distribution: $500 per term for two consecutive terms.  For example, the Summer 2023 scholarship with be disbursed $500 for summer term and $500 for fall term.

Criteria:

1.Be a New NAU undergraduate student.

2. Be registered for at least six (6) credits (half-time) during the first term of enrollment.

3. Application submitted within ten (10 calendar days of email notification)

To be submitted with ALL above applications:

• A brief autobiography (500 -750 words) that includes your career goals and objectives, involvement in extracurricular activities, financial need, and any other pertinent information.
