Registering for eLabs

Many NAU courses also require the use of 3rd party eLabs to complete assignments and access additional course materials.  Information on how to register for those eLabs is below.

 

Pearson Labs

     These include labs, such as MyMathLab, MyAccountingLab, etc.

     You will need two items:

• Email address: It is recommended you use a personal email address and not your student email.
• Access Code: Can be purchased through the NAU Bookstore, or from Pearson during the registration process.

Cengage

     Cengage labs include Coursemate and Mindtap.

     You will need an access code, which you can buy from the NAU Bookstore or directly from Cengage during the registration process.  

     You will not need a Course ID, as the lab is built into your Desire2Learn course.  

     In your course, go to Course Materials>>>Content.  On the content page, locate either Course Resources or Mindtap to begin the registration process.

 

McGraw-Hill

     These include the Learn Smart Connect Labs.

     You will need an access code, which you can buy from the NAU bookstore or directly from McGraw-Hill during the registration process.

     You will not need a Course ID, as the lab is built into your Desire2Learn course.

     In your course, go to Course Materials>>>Content.  On the content page, locate LearnSmart to begin the registration process.

TestOut

     You will need the access code, which you can purchase from the NAU bookstore.

     The access code is delivered via email.
