Inclusive Access Course Materials Opt-Out Guide

You have the right to Opt-Out and not participate, but if you choose to opt-out and not participate, you could pay more!

Students will receive an email with instructions on how to access materials for courses utilizing this service. If a student does not wish to participate in the Inclusive Access course material service, they have the option to opt- out of each course. If the student choses to opt-out, they must do so before the deadline or they will be charged the resource material fee per course. You can find the opt-out calendar by quarter start here.

◊ eBook

If a student opts-out of a course with e-book digital content, they will not be charged the resource material fee, as long as the student opts-out during the opt-out period.

◊ Access Codes

If a student plans to opt-out of course with a digital access code, they must not redeem the access code. If they do, regardless if it is within the opt-out period or not, they will be charged the resource material fee.

◊ Text Book

If a student plans to opt-out of a course with a text book, they must not open the book when it is delivered. If the book is opened and Ambassador does not except the return, the resource material fee will remain on the students account. For more information about returning a text book, and to ensure you follow the return requirements, refer to the return policy here.

Students will receive an email confirmation from Ambassador when they have successfully processed the opt-out request, by course.
