Brainstorm

Human, Thoughts, In Thoughts, Head, Think, Out, Person

First, begin by writing down all of the relevant or work experiences you have had and start jotting

down skills, duties, projects, events, etc that could relate to your potential job search. Here are

some ideas to get you thinking:

  • Technical Skills

  • Volunteer Experiences

  • Language Skills

  • Organizational Memberships

  • Leadership Experiences

  • Awards

  • Education/Certifications

  • Community Activism

  • Athletics

  • Group Projects

  • Professional Associations

  • Honors

Reminder: Not all of your past experience is going to be relevant for your final résumé, based on

the type of job for which you are applying. It is a good idea to have all of your relevant

experiences to draw from to write a great résumé.
